Mathew Thomas has been appointed as the new Country Manager and Managing Director for Siemens Digital Industries Software in India, succeeding Suprakash Chaudhuri with immediate effect. With a wealth of 30 years of industry experience, Mathew and his team are focused on fostering profitable growth through customer success and cultivating a high-performance organizational culture. In his previous role as the Head of Sales for Software and Hardware business over four years, Mathew played a pivotal role in achieving significant year-on-year growth for Siemens’ business in India.
Bas Kuper, Senior Vice President and Managing Director Asia Pacific at Siemens Digital Industries Software, expressed his delight at Mathew’s appointment, emphasizing Mathew’s business acumen and the potential to strengthen relationships with customers in the region. Before joining Siemens Digital Industries Software, Mathew worked at Ernst & Young LLP (EY) as part of the Digital & Technology Advisory leadership team, contributing to the growth of the Technology Business in India. He also served as Vice President – Strategic Industries at SAP, responsible for building and expanding the Strategic Industries Unit. With experience at Oracle as Senior Director – Applications Channels, Mathew played a key role in driving growth for Oracle’s Applications business. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Wipro, Tata, and Godrej.
